Portfolio 2: Relative Realism

This approach to painting is largely intended to capture the way real things look and feel. This, however, doesn’t deny memory or imagination the right to invent the whole picture, make bits up, leave things out or distort things. The pursuit of a convincing realism, well balanced composition and some degree of verisimilitude generally determines the aesthetic direction. AG 07
