1: Life Drawings
Drawing is the foundation for all of my other work.
It not only causes me to observe how real things are put together but also
provides me with a vocabulary of abstract marks and skills - and the aesthetic
confidence associated with "a good eye". These things, combined with
what I think is an enquiring and inventive mind, allow me to pursue a
relatively wide range of visual art concepts with conviction. AG 07
